Grooming
The Blanc de Hotot requires regular and very careful grooming to keep its brilliant white coat well preserved and the rabbit happy and healthy.

History
As with the Blanc de Bouscat, this rabbit is named after the town in France in which it was first bred. In this instance it was the small town of Hotot-en-Auge, where a French woman began to experiment in the very early 1900s with breeding Checkered Giants over and over to achieve the desirable qualities of both meat and fur that she desired.
