General
Weight: 1.70-2.5kg
Description: cobby body with strong back legs and shoulders, medium erect ears, white blaze with different coloured cheeks – black and orange, band of orange around the middle with black hind. Also seen in blue, chocolate and lilaca instead of black.

Characteristics
Dutch Tri-Coloured rabbits are known for having very sweet, gentle personalities. They make wonderful pets are intelligent and usually well socialised from an early age.

Grooming
The Dutch Tri-Coloured requires brushing at least once a week with a brush that is rabbit orientated for at least 30 minutes. During shedding seasons the Dutch may require brushing more often. Doing this helps to prevent them from ingesting their own fur.

History
The Tri Coloured Dutch is also known as the Japanese/ Harlequin Dutch. It was first developed in Holland by crossing tortoiseshell Dutch rabbits with Harlequins and dates back as far as the 1400s. It is a breed recognise by the British Rabbit Council, but not the American Rabbit Breeders Association.
