Description: long, floppy ears, small, compact body, soft short hair in black, white, blue, agouti, chinchilla, sable, seal point or fawn.

Characteristics
The Dwarf Lop rabbit has a very loving and affectionate personality. They enjoy being handled, though may be too powerful a breed for very young children. They make good house rabbits.

Grooming
The Dwarf Lop rabbit requires brushing at least once a week with a brush that is rabbit orientated for at least 30 minutes. During shedding seasons the Dwarf Lop rabbit may require brushing more often. Doing this helps to prevent them from ingesting their own fur.

History
The Dwarf Lop rabbit first appeared in Holland and is produced from the French Lop. In America the Dwarf Lop rabbit is known as the Holland Lop and is the smallest breed in the lop family. It was first brought to England in 1969/70 by George Scott of Yorkshire.
