Meissner Lop rabbits are usually friendly and sociable rabbits. Due to their calm and tolerant nature, they make excellent pets for children. 

Grooming
Meissners Lop rabbits require brushing at least once a week to keep their coat healthy and to prevent them from ingesting hair.

History
Not much is known about the Meissner Lop rabbits. It is said to have originated in Germany during the 1920s by crossing lops with silvered breeds.
