Characteristics
The Netherland Dwarf rabbit usually makes an excellent pet. They are friendly and sociable animals with a tolerant and docile personality. 

Grooming
Netherland Dwarf rabbits require brushing at least once a week to keep their coat healthy and to prevent them from ingesting hair.

History
The Netherland Dwarf rabbit was originally developed in the Netherlands during the early 20th Century. They were imported to the UK in 1948. During the early 70s and 80s the Netherland Dwarf rabbit tended to have an aggressive temperament, but over generations of breeding has become a calm, tolerant and friendly rabbit.
