Characteristics
The Pointed Beveren is a highly intelligent and energetic rabbit. The does in particular are very docile and make excellent mothers to their large litters. This is a rabbit that enjoys the outdoors.

Grooming
Pointed Beveren rabbits require brushing once a week, more often during shedding season.

History
The Pointed Beveren is one of the oldest fur rabbit breeds, first bred in Beveren in Belgium. It was developed from crosses of the Brabanconne, St. Nicolas Blue, and the Blue Vienna. The Pointed Beveren became very popular in England during the First World War.
