Characteristics
The Polish Rabbit is not a lap rabbit and has been known to have an aggressive temperament. They are best kept alone and not with other rabbits or animals. They would make unsuitable pets for children.

Polish Rabbits require brushing at least once a week and more frequently during shedding season.
History
Contrary to its name, the Polish Rabbit was said to have been bred in Belgium and developed in England during the late 1880s. It was known as the Britannia Petite in the USA. It was originally bred to be Albino and Blue eyed White, but other colours were developed.
