Description: sleek appearance, predominantly white with black and orange markings, erect, coloured ears.

Characteristics
Rhineland Rabbits are very confident and outgoing rabbits with a tendency to be mischievous and playful. They make charming pets.

Grooming
Though the Rhineland has a very thick coat, it is not unmanageable and does not require brushing any more often than the majority of rabbit breeds. Once or twice a week is substantial, more during shedding season.

History
Originally the Rhineland rabbit was developed in Germany and shown in 1902 for the first time. It wasn’t recognised until 1905.
