Characteristics
Sallander rabbits are rarely found as household pets, though they are active, curious and intelligent. 

Grooming
The Sallender rabbit has very thick, dense fur, therefore may take more time to brush and will require grooming more often. A slick brush is suitable.

History
Sallander rabbits were created by crossing Thuringer rabbits with Chinchilla rabbits.
