Description: small, short fur, in colours black, brown and fawn, silver ticking over coat to give it it’s silvery sheen.

Characteristics
Silver Rabbits have a very unique temperament. They are extremely easygoing rabbits that are calm, tolerant and docile.

Grooming
Silver Rabbits require frequent grooming to keep their coat glossy and healthy.

History
The origin of the Silver rabbit isn’t definite, but it is one of the oldest breeds of domestic rabbit. Historians have suggested the Silver rabbit was brought back by sailors after finding them in large numbers in Siam. There are even suggestions that Sir Walter Raliegh is responsible for introducing Silver Grey rabbits to the Nappa warren at Askrigg in Yorkshire.
