Description: very soft coat, silver ticking around the chest area, circle of colour under each eye.

Characteristics
The Silver Fox will make an excellent pet if well handled and looked after. They can become gentle, affectionate and docile.

Grooming
The Silver Fox requires brushing at least once a week and more often during the shedding season.

History
The Silver Fox Rabbit was created using the Chinchilla Rabbit and was first shown in 1926. It is the second oldest American developed breed. The oldest is the American Blue. At one point it did face extinction but was brought back when 18 dedicated fanciers of the Silver Fox Rabbit were established.
